Just in case that wasn’t enough ….flying in from Finland, Mary Anne Hobbs’ men of the moment, Tes La Rok and Clouds will be bringing their genius to the decks and rinsing it hard just for Birmingham. Keeping it homegrown, Boogie Dave (drop beats not bombs) and Adamn Noize + N4tism (Syndicalism / LML) will smash it Midlands style to complete the mighty front room selection. Take a wander through the courtyard and marvel at the spectacular railway arches which loom overhead on your way to discovering the tropical paradise which awaits you at the beach (yes BEACH!!!). 60 tones of sand has gone to make Birmingham’s own beach utopia from which an army of DJ’s will be waiting to supply you with a selection of the biggest hip hop, breaks, dub, reggae and soul delivered to you from the ice-cream van rig. Like live art?? Get ready as the underground illustration/graffiti art battle Secret Wars starts Series 2 of the Midland series with a showcase of the most awesome illustration skills. Fresh from taking Europe by storm with only an Edding pen as their weapon, a selection of Secret Wars all-stars will dazzle onlookers as they create the most amazing (and massive) illustration pieces live throughout the night!
